Service Desk Analyst - Wellington!Based at Royal NZ Police College Porirua Band C Police Employee Permanent/ Full Time Shift role NAV JR 6017184E tῡ ki te kei o te waka, kia pakia koe e ngā ngaru o te wā.Stand at the stern of the canoe and feel the spray of the future biting at your faceMō te tūnga About the role Our Service Desk Analysts are professional and competent at resolving incidents and requests raised in our computing, application, radio, mobility and telephony environments via telephone, email or self-service portal.To support our frontline police we operate a 24/7, 365 days a year service desk and are looking for motivated people to join our rotational rostered shifts. This role can only be based at Royal New Zealand Police college in Porirua, Wellington. Permanent remote working is unavailable. Key Accountabilities Commitment to excellence Accountable and responsible Experience with Computers and Technology - IT Qualification Preferred. Customer service experience where you'll enjoy handling technical queries. Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment. Ability to multitask effectively, including simultaneously listening, typing, and communicating clearly with customers while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. A passion to deliver a quality and timely service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Special requirements A full NZ Driver's License is essential, as you will be required to attend work on a 24x7 rostered basis at times when public transport may not be available. Must be able to work 24/7 roster, weekends and public holidays included. Preferred shifts are not available as a permanent option. Must be able to pass Police vetting and security clearance requirements. This role is Individual Contributor/Emerging Leader level. Salary Utu ā-tau| Salary - This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $64,161 and $66,975 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
