Aboutthe Role In this 0.5 FTE, Permanent role as an Emergency MedicineSpecialist, you will deliver clinical care to a broad range of patients acrossthe acuity spectrum, including paediatric and adult populations. You will bepart of a 7-day roster and participate in the on-call schedule. You will also be responsible for supervision and educationof junior medical staff and play a vital role in ensuring the efficient flow ofpatients through the department in partnership with senior nursing staff. Therole reports directly to the Clinical Director of the Emergency Department. About the Team / Service / Location Our Emergency Department is located in the Waipapa buildingat Christchurch Hospital and is part of our tertiary-level health service. Thedepartment is accredited for advanced training in Emergency Medicine by theAustralasian College for Emergency Medicine and is a fast-paced, supportiveclinical environment.
