We’re looking for a proactive Key Account Supportteam member to help deliver outstanding service to our key customers andsupport the continued growth of our branch. What you will be doing? Based in our Henderson branch, you’ll provide day-to-daysales and account support for key customers managed by the Branch Manager. You’ll become a trusted point of contact for customers,responding to enquiries, preparing and following up quotations, processingorders and keeping customers informed about product availability, lead timesand deliveries. Working closely with the wider branch and sales team, youwill: Build strong relationships with allocatedcustomers and understand their ongoing requirements. Prepare accurate and competitive quotationsand follow up opportunities through to an outcome. Process and coordinate customer orders,supplier orders, credits and returns. Identify opportunities to increase salesthrough additional products, alternatives and solutions. Work with the Branch Manager and Sales teamto support customer account plans and sales activity. Monitor customer purchasing trends, openquotations and potential risks or opportunities. Support the achievement of branch sales andgross-profit targets. Assist on the trade counter and across branchoperations when required. This is a varied role where strong communication,organisation and follow-through will be key to delivering the level of serviceour customers expect. What you will bring? You’ll bring energy, accountability and a genuinecommitment to helping customers and branch team to succeed. You will be confident communicating with customers andcomfortable managing multiple enquiries and priorities throughout the day. Previous experience in internal sales, account support,customer service or a trade-based environment would be valuable. You’ll alsobring: Experience preparing quotations, processingorders or supporting customer accounts. A proactive approach to following up salesopportunities. Good attention to detail and numericalability. Strong planning, organisation andproblem-solving skills. The ability to work collaboratively acrosssales, branch, credit and supply teams. Competent computer skills and the ability tolearn new systems. Experience within the electrical or wholesale sectorwould be an advantage, but it is not essential. Product training and supportwill be provided. What you will get?
