CNC Machinist

Our client is a world leading company specialising in the design and manufacture of water propulsion units. We are currently recruiting on behalf of them for CNC setters for an immediate start. We are seeking applicants with a "machining" trade qualified background, preferably time served Fitting & Turning or, would consider non-trade skilled CNC machinists with a minimum of three years' experience in the following activities. What we can offer you! 40 hours a week + Competitive pay rates depending on experience and what shift you are on You will accrue 8% holiday pay Cafeteria onsite with lunch deals Duties include: CNC machine tool setting with three, four and five axis mill-turns Horizontal machining centres and borers. Navigate through engineering drawings to the geometrical requirements of the machined components. Complete product self-inspections Required to manufacture a diverse range of critical components with specified tolerances. Successful candidates will ideally: Experience with machine tool setting and operating to specific work instruction is required Experience with using Fanuc and/or Okuma machine controls Be able to commit to work for at least 6+ months Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen Consent to a criminal history check We have multiple vacancies on both afternoon and night shift.
