Responsibilities Manage import operations and ensure the efficient coordination and final delivery of freight Provide backup support to export operations, preparing documentation, arranging bookings and monitoring shipment progress Provide customers with pick-up and delivery information and ensuring speedy response to clients’ needs Expedite export customs clearance and security formalities in line with local legislative requirements Ensure customer and agent invoicing and financial cost processing are completed within the required time frames and in accordance with the company’s Global business objectives Prepare and provide ad hoc freight quotations, ensuring accurate pricing with timely turnaround. Requirements Similar import and export operations experience gained within international freight forwarding Sound CW1 system experience preferred Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing A problem solver with a customer service driven attitude and ability to find efficient solutions for the customer Highly motivated, proactive attitude, taking preventive actions with the goal of customer retention Co-operative working style, informing internal stakeholders/departments pro-actively Time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to work under pressure.
