Recruitnet Consulting Group Ltd – Whatawhata, North Island About the role This isn't a traditional administration position. You’ll become the organisational hub of the business, helping ensure projects run smoothly, health and safety remains compliant, and day-to-day operations stay on track. Working closely with the Directors and Project Team, you'll take ownership of the administration, coordination and follow-up that keeps the business operating efficiently. No two days will be the same. Your responsibilities will include Coordinating health & safety documentation, compliance and site records Supporting project administration, permits, inductions and site documentation Managing timesheets, payroll information, invoicing support and general administration Following up outstanding information from staff, subcontractors and suppliers Maintaining business records and documentation across multiple systems Identifying smarter ways of working through improved systems and processes Assisting with customer communication and general operational support This is a coordination role rather than a project management position. You'll be the person ensuring everything is organised, completed and followed through. About you You’ll enjoy working across a wide variety of tasks and naturally keep things organised. You’ll likely bring experience from construction, civil, engineering, trades or another practical contracting environment where you've had to juggle multiple priorities. You’ll also have: Experience coordinating Health & Safety systems and documentation Strong administration and organisational skills Confidence using spreadsheets and business systems The ability to confidently follow up staff and suppliers Excellent attention to detail and strong time management A proactive approach to improving systems and processes The ability to work independently while supporting a close-knit team Most importantly, you're someone who enjoys bringing structure, organisation and continuous improvement to a busy business.
