The Society of Mary Trust Board – Wellington Central, North Island Office Management | Communications | Executive Support Society of Mary New Zealand (Marist Fathers) Wellington CBD Full-time (37.5 hours per week) About the role No two days are the same. You'll be responsible for ensuring our Provincial Office runs smoothly while providing high-level support to senior leadership. Your responsibilities will include: Executive diary and meeting management Preparing agendas, papers and interactive meeting packs for governance meetings Coordinating travel, accommodation and events Managing correspondence, databases and organisational records Producing publications, newsletters and promotional material Maintaining websites and digital communications Liaising with printers, suppliers and external service providers Coordinating external IT services Managing office systems, equipment and reception functions Supporting communications and special projects across the organisation This is a role where attention to detail, initiative and excellent organisational skills are highly valued. An appreciation of the mission and values of the Catholic Church or experience working within a faith-based or not-for-profit organisation would also be beneficial. The first Marists arrived in Aotearoa New Zealand from France more than 180 years ago. Today, around 90 members—active and retired—serve throughout the country in a variety of ministries, including parishes, schools, and spirituality centres in what is called the New Zealand province. The Society also has a number of “lay” people partnering with us in Colleges, youth agencies and other projects.
