INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN - QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA NZ$145k annual salary package incl Superannuation Relocate to coastal Queensland! Flights + 3 months accommodation + relocation offered to successful applicants. Located at the southern gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, this role in a large, successful refinery is an awesome opportunity to get ahead! Our client has four roles available in their safety-focused team of electricians and engineers for EWRB registered and experienced Industrial Electricians. You will be completing planned and breakdown maintenance on a wide range of Electrical and Instrumentation equipment (including high voltage repairs) ensuring that plant keeps operating at its impressive capacity. THE ROLE Your day-to-day will include fault finding and repairs on a variety of electrical equipment including pumps, transmitters, sensors, probes, circuit breakers, RTDs, positioners and washers. You will provide feedback on equipment defects and asset performance, assisting with the planning of preventative maintenance schedules. ABOUT YOU Excited about working for a multinational company with extensive training and career progression in Australia! Hold a current New Zealand EWRB practising licence (a full licence is required; limited licences will not be considered). Must be registered and authorised to work as an electrician in New Zealand. Industrial High Voltage qualifications and experience is essential Have demonstrated experience in fixed plant maintenance/process control in High Voltage environments , including diagnostic fault finding on complex circuits, purge assembly and repair collaboration. Proven experience in breakdown repair. Exposure to Bailey DCS systems, and experience with VSD’s, DCS logic, electronic relays and fault finding on complex circuits is highly regarded. Previous hazardous area work is desirable. Have experience with instrumentation. Have sound understanding of electrical schematic drawings. Be comfortable at heights from time to time. Experience working in industrial environments, e.g. Quarries, FMCG plants, Refineries, Dairy or Chemical plants, Mills and Smelters. Extensive experience working in environments where Health and Safety is paramount.
