We operate Monday to Friday on an alternating day schedule - processing one day and boning the next. We're looking for a reliable and motivated Hygiene Cleaner to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you'll play an important part in maintaining the cleanliness of our processing facility and ensuring we meet the highest food safety and hygiene standards. Working as part of our afternoon hygiene team, you'll help prepare the plant for the next day's production by carrying out thorough cleaning and sanitation of processing areas and equipment. Key Responsibilities: Carry out cleaning and sanitation of processing equipment, rooms and facilities Follow hygiene, food safety and health and safety procedures at all times Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment Complete cleaning records and report any maintenance or hygiene concerns Work efficiently as part of the hygiene team to achieve daily cleaning standards Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment What We're Looking For: Reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Previous industrial or food processing cleaning experience is preferred but not essential Physically fit and able to carry out manual cleaning tasks Able to work afternoon and evening shifts (typically 4:00 pm - midnight) Willing to learn and follow strict food safety and hygiene procedures Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test We Offer: All required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided Full training and ongoing support A supportive team environment with opportunities to learn and develop Stable Monday to Friday work with no weekend shifts If you take pride in your work, enjoy being part of a hardworking team, and want to play an important role in producing quality New Zealand lamb, we'd love to hear from you.
