Job Description

Intermediate Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure WT is an international consultancy practice with over 2,500 employees in the UK, Europe, China, South East Asia, North America, India, Australia, and NZ, providing specialist cost, sustainability, project management, facilities management and technical advisory consultancy services to the property, construction, infrastructure, and resources sectors. About the role Supporting across multiple sectors, this role will perform various quantity surveying functions including estimating, planning and cost management, cost monitoring, and accurate and timely financial reporting whilst exercising sound financial acumen with a key focus on proactively maximising value for our clients. Key Responsibilities Liaising with clients, architects, and main contractors Identifying and facilitating new business opportunities Estimating and Cost Planning Tender evaluations and analysis Cash flow projects Procurement Cost reporting Evaluation of variations Payment Recommendations Final account reporting Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation and settlement of claims Investment analysis Formulating and implementing benchmarking processes to improve the consistency, accuracy and time to prepare cost models and plans Qualifications 3+ years project experience Relevant bachelor qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering Extensive experience in cost estimating and planning software / Cost X Additional Information At WT, in addition to your competitive salary, we offer many perks including: Medical Insurance Carpark or Public Transport Card Paid professional memberships - support in gaining and supporting your membership costs for RICS or NZIQS WT’s balanced way of working - to optimise work according to where and how employees work best and enhance employee experience and wellbeing, whilst boosting organisational outcomes and setting a foundation for future growth.
