Database Reliability Engineer

This position blends the foundational responsibilities of a SQL DBA with innovative strategies aimed at maintaining the integrity and availability of our data-driven services. You’ll be at the forefront of keeping data architecture robust and responsive, contributing directly to the organization's success. Required Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, with a strong focus on performance tuning and troubleshooting. Solid experience with MySQL database management and operations. Familiarity with database backup and recovery techniques. Capability in monitoring database performance and making necessary adjustments. Understanding of indexing, partitioning, and replication strategies. Nice to Have Skills: Exposure to cloud-based databases, including AWS Aurora (though not mandatory). Experience in database automation and scripting languages like PowerShell or Python. Familiarity with database security practices and compliance. Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in database administration or database reliability roles is preferred.
