Class 2 Delivery Driver

Our client is a well-established, family-owned food distribution company seeking a reliable and motivated Class 2 Delivery Driver to join their friendly and supportive team. About the Role You will be responsible for delivering fresh and packaged food products to a range of customers including cafés, restaurants, and retirement villages across Christchurch. This is a customer-facing position, so a professional presentation and friendly attitude are essential. Hours of work: Monday - Friday (Saturdays when required) Key Responsibilities: Delivering catering products to customers in a timely and professional manner Loading and unloading deliveries, including heavy lifting Picking and packing orders accurately Ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and safely Maintaining a clean and organised vehicle and work area Providing excellent customer service at delivery points What We’re Looking For: Full Class 2 Driver’s Licence Previous delivery driving experience Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive heavy lifting Strong attention to detail for order picking and packing Good communication and time management skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently What’s on Offer: Competitive hourly rate Ongoing, stable work with a reputable company Supportive team environment Opportunity for long-term placement If you’re a dependable driver who takes pride in your work and enjoys a varied, physical role, we’d love to hear from you.
