Learning Assistant

In this role, you will work closely with the classroom teacher, Learning Support Coordinator (SENCO), and external specialists to create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment tailored to the student’s physical, emotional, and academic goals. Key Responsibilities Provide dedicated 1:1 behavioral, emotional, and learning support throughout the school day. Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and sensory strategies. Support communication strategies and help build the student's social interactions with peers. Monitor progress and collaborate with the teaching team to adapt daily routines as needed. What We Are Looking For Experience: Previous experience supporting children with high needs and/or autism spectrum conditions is highly preferred. Team Player: A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills to work effectively alongside teachers, specialists, and parents. Attributes: Patience, adaptability, emotional maturity, and a genuine passion for inclusive education.
