About the Service Ward A5 is a busy general surgical unit with a focus on elective surgery including colorectal, hepatobiliary and bariatricsurgery. No two days are the same in this fast-paced team that focuses on peri-operative care and recovery. Ward A5 is also a Dedicated Education Unit where you'll enjoy being involved in the development of student nurses. About the Role We're looking for a Registered Nurse to join us whois passionate about surgery and keen to move their career forward. Working inour large multidisciplinary team you can expect to work closely with and learnfrom our Surgeons, Nurse Educator and Clinical Nurse Specialist, who arefocused on advances in surgical care that improve clinical outcomes. In turnyou will bring your exceptional interpersonal skills and organizational skillsand will be a real team player. The service is rostered on a rotating roster Mondayto Sunday across Morning, Afternoons and Nights. It is a 0.8FTE (32 hours perweek) fixed-term position covering parental leave from 19/10/2026 until05/09/2027. About You You will have effective problem solving anddecision-making skills and a commitment to providing and maintaining highstandards of nursing practice within our service.
