As our Internal Audit practice inŌtautahi-Christchurchcontinues to grow,we’relooking for an experienced Analyst to deliver internal audit and risk management engagements with our clients. Your day-to-day could include: Support the delivery of internal audit engagements by executing project plans, conducting audits and business process reviews, and assessing risks, controls, and compliance across financial and operational processes. Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of key controls,identifycontrol gaps and emerging risks, and develop practical, business-aligned recommendations. Prepare clear,high-quality audit documentation and reports, clearly communicating findings and insights to engagement teams and client stakeholders. Support engagement teams through effective risk management,supporting engagement delivery, including managing workplans, timelines, and quality outputs. Collaborate effectively within engagement teams and contribute to a positive team environment, including sharing knowledge and supporting junior team members whereappropriate.c Ngāpūkengakeiakoe/Top skillsthat you will use and grow in this role Minimum 2years’ experience in internal audit and/or risk-focused roles, with exposure to audit delivery, risk assessments, and business process reviews. Strong written communication anddevelopingreport writingskills, with the ability to clearly articulate risks, control issues, and practical recommendations. Solid understanding of risk frameworks, internal controls, and business processes, including assessing control design and operating effectiveness. Effective use of audit tools and IT technologies to support audit execution, documentation, and analysis. Working knowledge of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards and internal auditmethodology. Confident presentation and verbal communication skills,with theability to communicate audit findings and insights clearly with engagement teams and client stakeholders.
