We are seeking a Facilities Cleaner to join our team in Rangiora on a permanent, part-time basis, working 16 hours per week. 31st July, 2026 Delta is your smart thinking infrastructure specialist. About The Role: This is a hands-on role that combines litter collection and public facilities maintenance to help keep Rangiora's parks, reserves, and public facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for the community. Working largely independently, you'll be part of a dedicated team responsible for maintaining green spaces to a high standard across the Waimakariri parks and reserves contract. Key responsibilities include litter collection, maintaining public restroom facilities, operating specialist vehicles and equipment, and engaging positively with members of the public. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and can be trusted to work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: Have experience in litter collection or a similar cleaning, maintenance, or facilities role. Be able to follow schedules and work programmes to ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard. Have a good knowledge of the Rangiora area and local parks and reserves. Hold a full, clean Class 1 driver's licence. Be confident driving utility vehicles, including a Ute fitted with a cage. Have the ability to drive and operate a litter compaction vehicle. Take pride in maintaining public restroom facilities to high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation. Enjoy working outdoors and be flexible with working hours, including occasional weekend work. Be self-motivated, reliable, and capable of using your initiative. Demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety. Work well as part of a team and communicate positively and professionally with members of the public.
