Commercial Manager - Civil Contractor - Mount Maunganui Our client is a highly respected, long established civil, commercial and residential earthworks and drainage contracting company, with a strong reputation for delivering quality projects and building long-term client relationships. With a healthy forward workload and ambitious growth plans, they are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their senior leadership team. The Role Reporting to the General Manager, you'll lead the commercial function across the business, working closely with Project Managers and the wider leadership team to maximise project performance and profitability. Leading the commercial performance of all company projects. Civil and Residential. Managing contracts, commercial risk and client relationships Reviewing project budgets, forecasting and financial performance Supporting estimating, procurement and tender strategy Developing commercial systems and processes to support growth Mentoring project teams and contributing to strategic business planning About You You’ll have a strong background in civil construction (min 10 years) with proven commercial leadership experience. You’re commercially astute, an excellent communicator, and confident building relationships with clients, consultants and project teams. Experience with NZS3910 contracts, commercial negotiations and project financial management is a must have.
