Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team and support the delivery of accurate cost estimates and commercial administration across our wide range of projects. Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor, the ideal person will have proven experience and will fit the company culture, live the core values and consistently deliver our Brand Promise of BEST PEOPLE | BEST RESULTS. Key responsibilities in the role include: Preparation of project estimates, budgets, and tender submissions. Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and scopes of work. Supporting the Commercial team in pricing variations and changes to contract scope. Maintaining up-to-date records and cost tracking for active projects. Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing and availability. Attending site visits and meetings to support accurate pricing and project planning. Assisting with take-offs and measurements from drawings using estimating software. Working alongside Project Managers and Site Teams to ensure commercial outcomes are met. Following procurement processes to support project delivery. Preparation of processes claims and final accounts. Complying with all H&S requirements. To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have some experience or formal training in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, Trade or Construction Management. A strong willingness to learn, high attention to detail, and a positive attitude are essential. You’ll enjoy problem-solving, working collaboratively, and gaining exposure to a wide range of construction methods and clients. You must have excellent communication and organisation skills, with the ability to manage your workload across multiple projects. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with construction software will be highly regarded.
