A practice in Auckland has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced veterinary nurse or vet tech to join a fantastic team. This position has opened due to an internal promotion and offers the chance to help lead a passionate, supportive team delivering exceptional care. This role is ideal for a vet nurse with strong leadership, organisational, and people skills. It would suit an experienced nurse who enjoys being hands-on with patients while also stepping into a broader clinic leadership position. This role is full-time and will require 1 in 3 Saturday shifts. As Clinic Coordinator, the successful applicant will play a key role in the smooth running of the clinic, supporting both the team and clients. Responsibilities will include: Hands-on veterinary nursing duties, including patient care, assisting in surgery, anaesthetic monitoring, and client education. Inspiring and supporting your team to deliver the highest standard of care. Overseeing daily clinic administration and retail operations. Mentoring and guiding junior staff and student nurses. Coordinating clinic workflow and scheduling. Maintaining high standards of client service and communication. Supporting a positive, engaged team culture. Developing an understanding of clinic financials and contributing to efficient, sustainable operations. The clinic is well-equipped with Vetscan biochem and haematology, x-ray, dental x-ray, iM3 dental machine, sterile surgery and Vision computer software. What’s on offer?
