Job Description
Are you an experienced fabricator with a background in towbar manufacturing? We have an immediate opportunity for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join a specialist manufacturing team based in Frankton. This is a 6-8 week project offering consistent Monday to Friday hours (8:00am-5:00pm) and the chance to work with a well-established manufacturer producing high-quality towbars and towing equipment. Roles Available Towbar Fabricator / Welder What You'll Be Doing Manufacturing and welding towbar assemblies and components Reading and interpreting engineering drawings MIG welding mild steel to a high standard Using workshop machinery and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently Assembling finished products ready for dispatch Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet specifications Maintaining a clean and safe work environment What You Need Previous towbar manufacturing experience is essential Proven MIG welding and fabrication skills Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering workshop Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable and able to work independently Availability to commit to a 6-8 week project What's In It For You Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Frankton-based workshop Immediate start available Weekly pay Supportive team environment Opportunity to utilise your specialist fabrication skills Applicants must have the current right to work in New Zealand.
