Warehouse / Shop Assistant

Autoline Industrial supplies compressed air and automation solutions to industry across New Zealand. We're a small and growing family business based at 7 Gear Street, Petone, Lower Hutt. THE ROLE We're looking for a reliable, detail-focused Warehouse Assistant to join our small and growing family business. This is a hands-on role covering inwards goods, dispatch, and stock replenishment. Because we're a small team, the role also comes with plenty of variety, so you'll get involved in other tasks around the business when things are quieter in the warehouse. This is a part-time position, Monday to Friday, 9am–3pm (with a degree of flexibility). WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Inwards Goods Receipt stock into the system, matching purchase orders against supplier invoices High attention to detail required, discrepancies need to be caught and flagged Dispatch Process shipments in the system for outgoing orders Pick and pack orders accurately Generate courier labels and dispatch orders on time Put stock away on shelves Keep stock locations accurate and organised Variety & Other Duties Product labelling and preparation Helping improve our warehouse systems and processes Occasional light manufacturing or assembly tasks WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR A great, can-do attitude, this matters to us as much as experience Someone self-directed who wants to own this role and take the initiative Strong attention to detail, particularly when matching paperwork and quantities Comfortable using computer systems for stock and order processing Able to manage multiple tasks in a busy warehouse environment Some trade shop or warehouse experience preferred GOOD TO KNOW Clean, air-conditioned working environment No heavy lifting involved Forklift skills not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
