Service technician/Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Automotive Mechanic Torque and tune provides Tuning solutions, Agricultural/Heavy Diesel repairs and servicing throughout the Selwyn and Waimakariri districts. Our business is continually growing, so we have an opportunity for an experienced Service technician, Heavy diesel mechanic or Automotive mechanic to join our team at Torque and tune based in Prebbleton. As a technician for Torque and Tune you will get to work on a wide range of equipment, new and old, from a variety of leading brands, both in our workshop and out in the field. On this equipment you can expect to be carrying out a range of repairs, from scheduled servicing to investigating electronic faults using diagnostic equipment. The Role Perform servicing, diagnostics and repairs of vehicles and heavy machinery Perform inspections and make recommendations for repairs Liaising with customers Some on call work will be required in the busy months Competitive remuneration based on skill and experience What we're looking for Heavy diesel technician with a trade qualification Ability to diagnose and repair faults and failures through modern diagnostic systems Ability to perform repairs and reconditioning of machinery systems High standard of workmanship Independency and initiative Work well as part of a team Excellent communication and customer service John Deere or Toyota experience would be an advantage Benefits: competitive salary based on experience Training &development supportive & Collaborative work environment Company vehicle At Torque and tune, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
