Job Description
Feeder Driver – Micro Surfacing Crew Travel. Variety. Teamwork. Great Earning Potential. We're looking for a hardworking and reliable Feeder Driver to join our specialist Micro Surfacing crew. This is more than just a driving role – you'll be a key part of a close-knit team delivering road maintenance projects across Waikato region. What You'll Be Doing Loading liquids and emulsion into feeder trucks from the stockpile Connecting feeder trucks to the micro paver during paving operations Working closely with the Loadmaster and Foreman to coordinate daily paving activities Preparing trucks for upcoming shifts, including refueling and replenishing liquids and aggregates Assisting with end‑of‑shift equipment cleaning and maintenance Maintaining housekeeping standards around trucks and stockpile areas Supporting ground crew and labouring activities as required Assisting with the training of new Feeder Drivers What We’re Looking For Strong commitment to health and safety Team-focused attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Reliability and a strong work ethic Good communication skills Full class 5 NZ license with wheels, tracks, rollers endorsement Ability to work independently and follow instructions Previous truck driving, civil construction, roading or similar industry experience preferred Physical Requirements This is a physically active role. Applicants must be comfortable: Climbing in and out of trucks and machinery regularly Lifting and handling hoses, tools and equipment Performing repetitive manual tasks throughout the shift Standing and walking for extended periods Working outdoors in all weather conditions Assisting with cleaning and maintenance duties What's In It for You?
