As our business continues to expand, we're looking for an experienced site Foreman/STMS (Civil & TTM) who enjoys leading crews while remaining hands-on in the field. This is not a desk-based supervisory role. You'll take ownership of daily worksite delivery, supervise small crews, coordinate activities and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. When required, you'll also jump on the machinery, assist with reinstatement works and work alongside your team to get the job done. About the Role Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of crews delivering minor civil construction and temporary traffic management works across Auckland. You’ll plan daily activities, coordinate resources, maintain safety and quality standards, and ensure every worksite is delivered professionally and compliantly. Depending on the project, you'll also operate plant, undertake labouring duties and perform the role of Foreman/STMS for integrated delivery works. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily minor civil and TTM worksites. Coordinate Operators, Labourers and subcontractors. Deliver safe, compliant and productive worksites. Conduct daily pre-starts, toolbox talks and site safety briefings. Manage excavation, service exposure, reinstatement, asphalt and concrete repair works. Operate excavators, rollers, compactors and other plant where required. Undertake labouring and reinstatement tasks alongside your crew when required. Implement and maintain approved Traffic Management Plans (TMPs). Monitor productivity, quality and programme performance. Complete daily site documentation, reporting and timesheets. Maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors and the public. Mentor and develop junior operators while promoting a positive team culture. What you will bring We’re looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of a worksite while remaining practical and hands-on. You’ll ideally have: Experience leading crews delivering civil construction and/or TTM projects. Current RBTTM & Civil Works qualification (or equivalent experience in a supervisory traffic management role). Strong understanding of NZGTTM and safe worksite practices (Civil & TTM). Experience in excavation, reinstatement, utilities or roading maintenance. Ability to operate civil plant and machinery. WTR endorsements. Full NZ Class 2 Driver Licence (minimum). Strong communication and organisational skills. A proactive attitude with the ability to solve problems on site. A commitment to leading by example and maintaining high safety standards.
