Class 4 and 5 Drivers

Roading and Building Recruitment – Bromley, South Island RB Recruitment is working with multiple Civil Construction companies we are partnered with, that require experienced Class 4 and 5 Drivers with Civil Construction Experience or a background in Construction. Considering the volume of clients wanting good, reliable people, we have positions covering Christchurch from Bromley to Rolleston, Hornby to Kaiapoi and everywhere in between. Ideally, our clients want Class 5 Drivers that are willing to work 8–12-hour shifts, Monday to Friday that are comfortable jack-knifing, tipping and spreading. And are willing to pay $30-34 per hour for the right people with the opportunity to transition to Permanent employment quickly once reliability and health and safety consciousness is shown. For the Class 4 roles , we have tipper trucks, hydrovac and roading maintenance crews looking for drivers, with 10–12-hour shifts expected. For these roles, you will need to be comfortable in Road Ranger or Manual transmissions and be capable of operating Tippers, with some of the roles requiring basic labour, such as sweeping excess stones, acting as a spotter or basic cleaning down of your truck. THE GOODS: Excellent starting rate - $30-34+ an hour depending on experience Consistent workload with multiple clients needing staff Mon-Fri shifts. Weekends free! Upskilling in Licenses available for Class 4s wanting to go Class 5 Big projects and big hours Ongoing training and support Full PPE provided!
