Structural Engineer

About the company Archway Recruitment are currently working with an engineering consultancy based in South Auckland, who are on the lookout for a talented Structural Engineer with around three to four years' experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer to join a supportive, forward-thinking team and get stuck into a wide variety of projects across the Auckland region. The job on offer? You'll be exposed to a diverse workload that will help broaden your technical skills and industry knowledge, including: Medium-large scale residential developments Commercial and industrial buildings Seismic assessments and strengthening projects Structural design for refurbishments and new builds Community and public sector developments To hit the ground running, you'll ideally bring a BE (Civil/Structural) or equivalent, with 3-4 years of local consulting experience. A solid technical knowledge in steel, reinforced concrete, and timber design with exposure to design software (ETABS, SAP2000, SPACEGASS or similar). It is important that you have a sound understanding of the NZ Building Code and relevant standards with strong communication skills, with the ability to work alongside architects, contractors, and clients.
