Registered Nurse - Part Time Maternity Cover Pulse & Richard Evans Vascular are a well-established private healthcare clinic entering a phase of strategic growth. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. Based in central Wellington, this role will begin as part-time maternity cover with the potential to expand over time and possibility of becoming permanent. Further training will be provided to the successful candidate as required. The job involves prepping and packing for clinics, scrubbing and supporting the surgeon in minor procedures, as well as patient pre calls and follow up. This role will include rostered travel within greater Wellington and also six-weekly to places like Palmerston North, Christchurch and Auckland. Sometimes this travel may involve an overnight stay. About us We’re a small, busy, private specialist vascular practice that’s growing. We’re friendly and work collaboratively. Our HQ is in vibrant Ghuznee St, Wellington. We work closely with our team of sonographers in the greater Wellington region providing vein and arterial treatments, then travel to different locations nationwide offering varicose vein treatments. Ours is a modern, mobile business. About you flexible and able to travel to other clinics approachable, with excellent communications skills, both written and oral thorough, caring and professional willing to learn new skills a team player. Professional requirements: A registered nurse with a current practising certificate. Vascular nursing background an advantage but training will be provided. Experienced in a theatre/clinic environment – desirable. Experience with medical software – desirable. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including our patients and their family/whanau, as well as other healthcare professionals at our clinics, other team members and providers.
