We're looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our nurse team on a fixed-term basis while our Nurse Lead is on maternity leave. About the role Working alongside our GPs, nurses, kaimahi and Community Services team, you'll provide high-quality primary care nursing services across a diverse range of clinical presentations. You'll enjoy a varied role that includes: Acute and routine practice nursing Long-term condition management Immunisations and health screening Patient education and health promotion Clinical triage and assessment Supporting preventative health initiatives Working alongside our wider Māori health and Whānau Ora teams to improve health outcomes You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to exciting developments as we evolve our model of care and prepare for our service expansion. About you We're looking for someone who: Is a Registered Nurse with a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate Has previous experience in Primary Care or General Practice nursing Enjoys working autonomously while being part of a supportive team Has excellent clinical judgement and communication skills Is passionate about improving health equity Understands Te Tiriti o Waitangi and kaupapa Māori models of care Holds a current NZ Driver Licence Most importantly, we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and wants to be part of a team that supports one another.
