Previous hardware experience is an advantage, but it's certainly not essential. If you're new to the industry, we'll provide on-the-job training and support from our friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable team. We are looking for positive, enthusiastic candidates that are passionate and understand the importance of delivering outstanding customer service to our trade and DIY customers find the right products and solutions, while contributing to a supportive and team-focused environment. Hours for this role are worked Tuesday 11.00am - 7.00pm,Wednesday 11.00am - 7.00pm, Thursday 11.00am - 7.00pm, Friday 7.00am- 4.00pm and Saturday 9.00am - 6.00pm. A bit about you... As part of our Hardware team you will: Deliverexceptional customer service by actively engaging with customers andconfidently assisting them with their purchasing decisions. Buildyour product knowledge and continuously learn to provide accurate adviceand practical solutions. Knowledge is built every day by learning fromcustomer projects. Takeownership of your department by maintaining high merchandising standards,stock availability, ticket accuracy and presentation. Beself-motivated and job-focused, identifying priorities and takinginitiative without waiting to be directed. Thinkoutside the box to identify opportunities to improve processes, increaseefficiency and enhance the customer shopping experience. Remainproductive during quieter periods by identifying meaningful tasks that addvalue to the business. Supportstock replenishment, stock integrity, seasonal changes and promotionalexecutions. Workcollaboratively across multiple departments, willingly assisting teammateswhere required to achieve the best outcome for our customers and thebusiness. Demonstrateflexibility by adapting to changing priorities and embracing newchallenges throughout the day.
