Storeman/ Freight Loader

ALH Wellington – Wellington Central, North Island ALH is seeking an experienced and reliable Freight Loader to join our client’s busy transport and logistics operation based in Wellington CBD. This is a hands-on, physical role working with a leading national freight company known for their strong safety culture, modern facilities, and focus on employee wellbeing. You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of freight, ensuring all goods are handled correctly and moved on time. This role offers great long-term potential with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person. This role is Monday to Friday 12PM - 9PM. Key Responsibilities: Safely load and unload linehaul and local freight units Operate forklifts to move and stack freight efficiently Check consignments for damage and correct quantities Complete basic paperwork and maintain a tidy workspace Work closely with the team to meet tight dispatch schedules Follow all Health & Safety and site procedures ALH is seeking an experienced and reliable Freight Loader to join our client’s busy transport and logistics operation based in Wellington CBD.
