Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners – Wellington Central, North Island The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners is a membership organisation and a medical college that provides post-graduate training for doctors wanting to specialise in general practice and rural hospital medicine. Our 80+ operational staff support our 6,000 members with an aim to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequities. About the role Reporting to the Digital Transformation Manager, the Support Engineeris responsible for delivering high-quality technical support while helping staff get the most out of the College's digital tools and systems. You'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our technology environment, supporting users across Microsoft 365 and other core platforms, and contributing to initiatives that improve efficiency and digital capability across the organisation. Working as part of a small, ambitious digital team, you'll combine strong technical troubleshooting skills with a genuine desire to help people and an interest in how AI and automation can enhance the way we work. What you will do Provide Level 1 and 2 support across Microsoft 365 and core business systems, resolving technical issues and supporting staff day-to-day Administer and maintain platforms including Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, and M365 services Manage device setup, configuration, onboarding, offboarding, and support for workplace technology Support meeting room technology, AV equipment, and hybrid working solutions across the organisation Deliver training, guidance, and self-service resources that help staff build confidence with digital tools, including AI-enabled technologies Identify opportunities to improve systems, automate processes, and enhance the overall staff technology experience. Skills & Experience Experience providing technical support across Microsoft 365 and modern workplace technologies Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, connectivity, and user support Experience administering platforms such as Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange Online Knowledge of Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar automation tools used to improve business processes Understanding of security, identity management, and compliance principles within a Microsoft 365 environment A customer-focused approach, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and build positive relationships with users.
