Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Waikato – Waikato District, North Island Part-time - 20 hours per week, Permanent employment, with evening shifts from 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, alternate Fridays, and alternate weekends. About the Role As an Inpatient Receptionist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality reception and administrative support within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be methodical, highly organised, flexible, and committed to being a supportive member of the team. Strong customer service skills are essential. In this role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include welcoming patients and visitors, answering incoming calls and responding to enquiries, and liaising closely with the medical team. You will be responsible for accurately capturing patient flow data, assisting patients with completing required forms and documentation, and maintaining a clean, calm, and welcoming reception area at all times. About the Service Inpatient Receptionist is committed to front desk operations in the wards, responsible for greeting, admitting, discharging, transfer of patient staying within the ward and managing patient records. They ensure the smooth running of the reception area and provide essential support to healthcare staff and our success is driven bythe care of patients and their whanau.
