About the Role: As a fixed term full-time Tyre Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our rental vehicles are safe, reliable, and roadworthy. From tyre inspections and repairs to wheel alignments, you'll be an essential part of our workshop team. You'll also contribute to a positive and collaborative environment, ensuring every vehicle meets the highest standards of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Remove, install, balance, rotate, and repair tyres for optimal performance and safety. Conduct wheel alignments and adjust settings per manufacturer guidelines. Inspect tyres for wear or damage and report suspension or steering issues. Maintain a clean and organised workshop and tyre storage area. Support branch and on-road teams with tyre-related concerns. Accurately record tyre maintenance in company databases. Assist with pre-hire checks and other workshop tasks as needed. What We’re Looking For: 1-2 years' experience in tyre fitting or automotive service. Full, clean New Zealand Class 1 licence preferred. Strong knowledge of tyre safety, wheel alignment, and fleet regulations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to health and safety standards.
