Mobile Plant Maintenance/ Site Handyman

Otago Lumber is looking for a motivated Mobile Plant Maintenance/ Site Handyman to join our close-knit and friendly team based in East Taieri, just outside Mosgiel. Experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given Job Purpose To provide service and repair maintenance to all mobile machinery on site, must have a good understanding and background on diesel motors. Key Responsibilities - Mobile Plant Maintenance Regular servicing of all mobile plants (Forklifts, Trucks, Loaders). Mobile Plant Repairs and overhauls. Source parts as required. Key Responsibilities - Site Maintenance Sundry repairs as necessary (Bearing/Belt changes, Minor welding repairs). Routine plant greasing, oil checks in plant drives. Liaising with Engineers and Electricians when needed. Maintaining safety fencing/ guarding Assist with documenting preventative maintenance. Yard Maintenance.
