Class 5 Truck Driver/Operator Night Shift Can you reverse a 5 axle trailer up a hill, around a barrier and into a single parking bay ? Yes, please proceed Think you can, please think again and do not proceed Can you competently operate a loader and load a high side alloy trailer without breaking it? please proceed Position is based at Henderson, starts at 6pm and runs to 3am . 5 Days per week Monday to Friday Peak season Oct to March 5pm to 5am Approx 45 hrs week off peak and 55 hrs peak season Required to unload a Walking Floor trailer, Back trailer into a tight spot at our Silverdale yard and self load recyclables to Visy, that's the uphill and around a corner backing in a tight spot without hitting the concrete blocks on blind side. As a Class 5 Waste Operator, you'll be responsible for operating our vehicles along with the onboard equipment to ensure an overall safe and timely transfer of waste materials. You will also be required to keep accurate driving records and have sound knowledge of NZTA guidelines.
