About The Role We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Team Leader to lead our Building Support Team, based at our BCAL office in Rolleston. The focus of this role is to lead and develop a high-performing team overseeing the delivery of building control and compliance functions both statutory and operationally. You will foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement that delivers exceptional client experiences and builds strong stakeholder relationships. You will champion innovation, challenge the status quo, identify opportunities to improve services and processes, and ensure compliance with our BCA requirements. About You You are an experienced leader who enjoys developing people, driving positive change, and delivering outstanding customer outcomes. To be successful, you will have: Leadership experience managing a team of administration focussed staff. Commercial experience and an understanding of business drivers and operational priorities. Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams. The ability to influence and lead organisational and cultural change. Strong customer service, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. A sound understanding of the Building Act and Local Government legislation (desirable). Experience improving processes and driving operational efficiencies. Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems. A commitment to continuous improvement and fostering a positive workplace culture. Qualifications and Experience NCEA Level 2 or equivalent business administration experience. Why Join Us?
