Dairy Farm Assistant Needed in Whangarei We have a job available for an experienced all-rounder dairy farm assistanton a 650-cow farm in the Parakao area, approximately 30 minutes west of Whangarei,milking through a 50 Bail Rotary shed. This role is open to NZ Residents/Citizens. You’ll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: shifting cows and feeding fencing, weed control calving, calf rearing shed cleaning and setup identifying and alerting managers to sick cows setting fences driving 2/4 wheelers or side-by-side and other all-around farm duties Weekly hours are a minimum of 40 and a maximum of 50. Since farm work is dependent on a number of unknown factors like weather and animals, any hours worked beyond the agreed maximum in a fortnightly pay period will be paidat the agreed overtime rate. The schedule may vary. Roster will be 11 days on, 3 days off for the rest of the year. Salary ranges from $57,894 – $65,658 per annum, depending on experience. Candidates are required to provide good related references.
