Fresh Foods Assistant - Seafood

We are looking for people with a passion for food preparation to work in our Seafood department. Our rosters are fixed, so you’ll know what days you’ll work each week and that you’ll be working 9 hours per day, 45 hours per week. The roster for the positions we are recruiting for are: WEDNESDAY TO SUNDAY 9.00am - 6.30PM The ideal candidate will be: Someone with previous food handling and preparation experience Physically fit and able to lift reasonably heavy items A team player with the ability to assist colleagues as well as work independently Attentive to detail and committed to providing an excellent shopping experience for our customers Key responsibilities include: Preparing fish and seafood Packing and presenting products ready for sale Providing a high level of customer service and assisting customers Maintaining stock levels in cabinets and retail spaces and ensuring all products on display are excellent quality Cleaning trays, utensils and kitchen areas Compliance with our Health and Safety and Food Safety programme We welcome applications from candidates currently residing in Queenstown and planning to stay and work long term.
