As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Designer to join our team and help deliver high-quality residential projects across Auckland. About the Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Architectural Designer, Design LBP or Registered Architect to become a key member of our design team. You’ll be responsible for preparing and reviewing residential design documentation, supporting the building consent process, and ensuring our projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Working alongside our planners, engineers, quantity surveyors, project managers, and construction teams, you’ll contribute to a wide variety of residential developments, from standalone homes through to multi-unit projects. What You’ll Be Doing Prepare, review, and sign off residential architectural documentation Manage Building Consent and Multi-proof applications Provide Design LBP certification and producer statements where required Respond to Council RFIs and support consenting approvals Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and regulatory authorities Develop and maintain design templates, documentation standards, and best practices Drive continuous improvement of design quality, documentation, and consenting processes Create concept plans and consent documentation as required About You You’ll be an experienced architectural professional who enjoys producing high-quality documentation and solving technical challenges within New Zealand’s residential building environment. You’ll bring: Licensed Building Practitioner - Design (LBP) and/or Registered Architect (NZRAB) A relevant tertiary qualification in architectural design, architecture, or a related discipline 5+ years' experience in New Zealand as a Registered Architect or LBP Strong knowledge of the New Zealand Building Code, NZS3604, and residential consenting processes Experience preparing Building Consent documentation and managing Council RFIs Advanced proficiency in Archicad Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams NZ citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid New Zealand work visa What’s In It For You?
