Senior Quantity Surveyor

ConsultANZ is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading civil contractor in Wellington, New Zealand . This role suits an experienced professional with skills in project controls, cost forecasting, and reporting on major infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will manage the Candy cost system, oversee forecasting and commercial controls, and provide accurate financial and commercial support across the project lifecycle. Main Duties Manage project cost forecasting and commercial reporting. Own and maintain the Candy cost management system. Monitor budgets, costs, and financial performance. Assess and manage project variations and cost control. Produce accurate forecasting and commercial reports. Support commercial planning and decision-making. Work closely with project managers and the wider commercial team. Requirements Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Management, or a related discipline. Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on civil or infrastructure projects. Strong experience using Candy software for cost management and forecasting. Experience with project controls, commercial reporting, and cost forecasting. Knowledge of NZS 3910, JDE, and TOC contracts is highly desirable. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Benefits Competitive Salary: $150,000–$190,000 (negotiable depending on experience).
