Community Engagement and Enrolment Contractor Community Engagement & Enrolment Contractor Are you a people person who can build and nurture relationships? Do you enjoy coaching and supporting others? Do you have a knack for helping turn 'maybe' into a yes? If any of this sounds like you, we want to hear from you, even if you don't tick every box. Ruahine Kindergarten Association (RKA) is looking for a warm, motivated contractor to help us connect with whānau and communities across our region. We want to strengthen enrolment growth by building trusted relationships and helping our teaching staff to do the same. About the work This is a six month fixed-term contract, offering around 30-40 hours per month that can be delivered flexibly. This work does include engaging with our teaching teams, and so some regular availability between 2.45-4.30 pm is important. Working alongside RKA's senior management team, you'll: Coach and support our teaching teams to confidently engage with prospective families Get out into the community and build relationships with whānau, local groups, and networks Improve how enquiries and visits are handled across our kindergartens Help families find their way to RKA earlier in their decision-making journey Track what's working and adapt your approach to keep improving results What we're looking for The right person for this work could come from many different backgrounds. You might have worked in sales, community development, account or stakeholder management, communications, coaching, facilitation, administration or other customer-facing roles. The most important thing is that you're relationship-oriented, self-motivated, and genuinely care about connecting people with something good. Don't meet every requirement? Please still get in touch. We can offer hybrid support with this project - for example, if you haven't been a contractor before or feel you'd need some strategic guidance, we may be able to pull in other support to tag-team with you. What success looks like Growth in enquiry levels, particularly at priority kindergartens Improved conversion from enquiry through to enrolment Stronger community visibility and presence for RKA Teaching staff feel more confident engaging with prospective families More consistent and effective enrolment practices across our services About RKA Ruahine Kindergarten Association is a for-purpose, not-for-profit, community-based organisation delivering high-quality early childhood education. Our kindergartens are staffed by 100% qualified teachers, and everything we do is focused on giving tamariki the best possible start. We have 18 kindergartens and five early learning centres across the region. We have a long history in our communities, and we're looking for someone who can help us strengthen those connections.
