About the role The HR & Recruitment Manager is responsible for delivering high‑quality human resources, recruitment, and people advisory services across Tamahere Country Club, Matamata Country Club and The Hill Pukekohe for the duration of this fixed term contract. This role oversees end‑to‑end recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and HR administration, while partnering closely with the Director, General Manager, and Managers to support a positive, compliant, and high‑performing workplace culture. Key responsibilities Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for all roles across all companies Partner with managers to understand workforce needs and recruitment priorities Draft and maintain position descriptions and job advertisements Coordinate advertising, screening, interviews, reference checks, and offers Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new employees are supported and compliant Provide HR advice and support to managers and employees across all employment matters Manage performance management, disciplinary processes, and investigations in line with employment legislation Support employee wellbeing, including managing attendance, health matters, and return‑to‑work processes Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and internal procedures Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation About you Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Manager, or Recruitment‑focused role Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice Proven experience supporting leaders with employee relations matters Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail Approachable, professional, and trustworthy Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities Proactive and solutions‑focused What We Offer Fixed-term maternity cover with a well‑supported transition A varied and autonomous HR role Opportunity to work closely with leadership #J-18808-Ljbffr
