Maintenance Engineer - Food Manufacturing This hands-on position is responsible for the maintenance and reliability of our production and packaging equipment. Key responsibilities Completing planned and preventative maintenance Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults Responding promptly to production breakdowns Maintaining ovens, mixers, conveyors, packaging equipment and other production machinery Identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency Coordinating contractors and specialist servicing Assisting with equipment installations and capital projects Maintaining accurate maintenance and compliance records Supporting health and safety, food safety and production requirements About you Industrial maintenance experience, preferably within food manufacturing or FMCG Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills Experience with machinery, motors, drives, sensors and control systems A practical, calm and solutions-focused approach Good communication and organisational skills The ability to work independently and prioritise urgent work A strong commitment to safety, quality and reliability About us We are a well-established Auckland food manufacturer supplying quality products throughout the region.
