E/N Education Ltd - Auckland, North Island Technical Sales Representative - International Education Company: E/N Education Ltd Location: 64 Orakei Road, Remuera, Auckland Employment type: Permanent, full-time Minimum guaranteed hours: 35 hours per week Ordinary hours: Approximately 35-40 hours per week Hourly pay: NZD $37.00-$55.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, skills and relevant experience Earnings and commission The guaranteed base pay is NZD $37.00-$55.00 per hour. Based on the minimum guaranteed 35 hours per week, estimated annual base earnings are: Minimum annual base earnings: NZD $67,340 before tax. Maximum annual base earnings: NZD $100,100 before tax. The employee may also receive a non-guaranteed commission equal to 20% of the net tuition commission and contract price actually received by the employer for each eligible and successfully enrolled student attributed to the employee. Based on approximately 10-20 successful student enrolments per year and an average employer tuition commission of NZD $4,300 per enrolment and NZD $ 8000 per contract signed: Estimated employee commission: NZD $860 + NZD $ 1600 per successful enrolment. Estimated annual commission: NZD $24,600-$49,200 before tax. Estimated total annual earnings, including base pay and commission: approximately NZD $91,940-$149,300 before tax . Commission is not guaranteed and will depend on actual enrolments, tuition payments, applicable refund periods and the employer’s receipt of the relevant tuition commission. About E/N Education Ltd E/N Education Ltd is an Auckland-based international education organisation providing education consultation, student recruitment and study-pathway services. We also work as the representative of the University of Arts London in NZ region. We support prospective international students in understanding New Zealand study options and making informed decisions about programmes, institutions and future study pathways. We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative who can combine international education knowledge, consultative sales skills and Chinese social-media content production. Key tasks and responsibilities The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for: Promoting the company's New Zealand education programmes and related student services. Identifying and engaging prospective students, parents, education agents and institutional partners. Conducting online and face-to-face consultations with prospective students. Assessing students' educational backgrounds, study objectives and service requirements. Presenting suitable New Zealand education products and study pathways. Explaining programme structures, entry requirements, tuition fees and application procedures clearly and accurately. Preparing service proposals, programme comparisons and follow-up recommendations. Managing enquiries, prospective student information and sales activities through the company's CRM or student management system. Following up with prospective students throughout the consultation and enrolment process. Maintaining accurate records of consultations, applications, enrolments and sales outcomes. Planning, filming, editing and publishing short-form promotional videos. Creating Chinese-language content for Xiaohongshu, Douyin and other relevant digital platforms. Using social-media and sales data to evaluate campaign performance, engagement and lead-conversion results. Delivering webinars, livestreams, seminars and education-related presentations. Attending education exhibitions and student recruitment events when required. Developing and maintaining relationships with students, education agents, schools and other partner organisations. Preparing regular sales, marketing, enrolment and conversion reports. Ensuring promotional content is accurate, responsible and consistent with company policies and applicable New Zealand requirements. Contributing to the ongoing development of the company’s international student recruitment strategy. Minimum qualifications and experience Applicants must have: A relevant diploma or bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, education, information technology or a related discipline; or equivalent relevant work experience. At least half year of relevant experience in international education, student recruitment, education consulting, technical or consultative sales, digital marketing or a closely related field. Previous personal or professional experience with the international student journey, such as having studied overseas or having advised and supported international students. Demonstrated practical experience using Xiaohongshu and Douyin for content production, business promotion or lead generation. Demonstrated ability to plan, film and edit short-form promotional videos. Strong consultative sales, presentation, customer service and relationship-management skills. Ability to understand prospective students' requirements and recommend appropriate education solutions. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Competence in using CRM systems, social-media platforms, analytics tools and standard office software. Ability to work independently and meet reasonable sales and student recruitment targets. Professional English communication skills. Professional Mandarin communication skills, as the role involves producing Mandarin-language content and communicating with Mandarin-speaking prospective students and parents. Preferred skills and attributes Preference may be given to applicants who have: Experience working in the New Zealand international education sector. Knowledge of New Zealand tertiary education and English-language study pathways. Experience studying in New Zealand as an international student. Existing relationships with education agents, schools or international student communities. Experience presenting education seminars, webinars or livestreams. Knowledge of digital advertising, lead generation and conversion analysis. Experience using video-editing software such as CapCut, Jianying or Adobe Premiere Pro. What we offer Guaranteed pay of NZD $37.00-$55.00 per hour. A minimum of 35 guaranteed working hours per week.
