About the role Based at Wellington Airport, the Branch Team Lead plays a key role in supporting the Branch Manager to lead a high-performing team and deliver on core business metrics. You'll help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly, ensuring processes are completed accurately. This is a hands-on role where you'll support the team across sales, customer experience, vehicle presentation, maintenance, administration, and professional development, while remaining flexible and ready to jump in wherever needed. The days of work for this role will be : Tuesday – Saturday OR Sunday – Thursday (will include one weekend day as part of your 5 day week). Key responsibilities Work with all team members to ensure they are implementing all GO procedures in the correct manner Undertake One on One's with team members, providing feedback as appropriate and developmental plans as necessary Work with the Manager to help identify improvements through analysis of customer feedback (NPS/SQI data) and implement appropriate changes where possible. Work with the Branch Manager to ensure all team members have the skills and knowledge to contribute to an increase in sales and revenue for the branch Be an active member of the Branch Health and Safety committee and drive a Health and Safety culture and safe work practices Oversee branch operations during the Manager's absence, ensuring smooth running of daily tasks Assist with recruitment of staff and the induction processes Manage the vehicle returns process, ensuring any damages or claims are completed appropriately About you Minimum 2 years' experience in branch operations or similar, successfully driving productivity and high levels of customer service Proven experience leading a team Strong leadership, motivation and facilitation skills Strong interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team Highly computer literate with intermediate Excel and Word and knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products Entry level data analysis and reporting Be a competent driver who follows NZ Road Safety Rules/Road Code at all times Reliable, responsible and dependable with excellent attention to detail Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task Why Join Us?
