Regional Community Facilitator - Auckland Spectrum Care supports people with intellectual disabilities to live their lives of choice in their communities. Our engaging staff strive to enable the best quality of life and create opportunities to achieve positive individual outcomes for the people who receive our services. We’re seeking a Regional Community Facilitator to lead and support community‑based initiatives in our Auckland community. This role focuses on building partnerships, strengthening local networks, and enabling people we support to engage meaningfully in their communities. As a Regional Community Facilitator, You Will Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups, disability organisations and local stakeholders Support individuals and whānau to identify and access community opportunities Facilitate collaboration across services to improve outcomes and inclusion Contribute to the development of innovative, locally‑responsive initiatives You Will Bring Experience in community development, facilitation or social services Experience in developing and delivering events and activities A strong understanding of inclusion, equity and capability‑building Confidence working independently across a region Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills Cultural awareness and a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi The Spectrum Group is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects the communities we serve.
