About this role We're looking for a skilled electronics engineer to play a central role in the development of the next generation Streetdog - our 5th generation design, targeting release for summer - and to grow with us from there. This is a permanent, full-time, Hamilton-based role. Your immediate focus will be the 5th Gen programme: leading the PCB redesign and electrical architecture work across the Streetdog platform, with the goal of improving user experience, performance, durability, serviceability, and accessory compatibility - all while driving meaningful reductions in assembly time and BOM costs. Some CAD familiarity and mechanical design skills will be useful but is not a core requirement of the role. Beyond the 5th Gen, you'll take on ongoing product reliability and improvement work, and play a key engineering role in the development of a groundbreaking new product targeting conceptual release in 2027. You'll work closely with our founders Luke and Kendall throughout, from concepting through to DFM, and will be responsible for keeping the programme on track and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience. What you'll be working on Lead the PCB review and redesign across the 5th generation Streetdog platform Reconfigure the electrical architecture, including the CCU, motor controller, wiring layout, and related electrical systems Prototype, test, and iterate design concepts through to production-ready specification Manage engineering documentation and design specifications throughout the project Coordinate contributors and contractors to keep the programme on timeline Ongoing product reliability and improvement work across the Streetdog range Key engineering contributor on a groundbreaking new product targeting conceptual release in 2027 What we're looking for exeptional PCB design skills, with hands-on experience relevant to EV electrical systems (motor controllers, LiIon batteries, hub motors, loom design, CAN bus etc.) Track record of delivering a hardware design project to a tight deadline, including coordinating external contributors High competency in embedded software design is desirable but not essential Some CAD competency is a plus (SolidWorks preferred) but not a requirement Experience in automotive or consumer product development is an advantage What we offer A challenging, broad-scope role with real creative ownership and the opportunity to break new ground at the frontier of electric motorcycle design The opportunity to grow with a small, fast-moving company pursuing global market leadership through innovation Hamilton-based with a collaborative, low-ego environment free from bureaucracy #J-18808-Ljbffr
