Join one of New Zealand’s leading freight and logistics companies, MOVE Freight Ltd , and play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our Christchurch operations. We are looking for a motivated and reliable Administration Support person to join our Christchurch branch. This is a full-time role suited to someone who is organised, accurate, and enjoys supporting a busy operational team. About Us MOVE Freight Ltd provides tailored logistics solutions across a wide range of industries including FMCG, Viticulture, Aquaculture, Retail, Oil & Gas, Export Meat, Construction Products, Wood Products, Container Cartage, and General Freight. The Role In this role, you will provide practical administration support across the Christchurch branch, helping keep records, systems, customer information, and operational processes accurate and up to date. The hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 1:30pm to 10:00pm. Key Responsibilities Answering and directing calls, emails, and general enquiries Providing administration support to the Christchurch branch team Managing branch documentation, filing, and record keeping Assisting with invoicing, billing, account administration, and reconciliation tasks Completing accurate data entry, manifesting trucks, and updating internal systems Preparing reports, updating spreadsheets, and maintaining branch records Supporting dispatch, operations, and customer service administration as required Helping the wider team with general administration and ad hoc branch support What You’ll Bring Previous experience in administration, office support, or customer service Strong communication skills and a professional, helpful approach Good attention to detail and the ability to keep information accurate Confidence using Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to prioritise work, stay organised, and manage competing tasks A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider branch team Freight, logistics, transport, or warehousing experience would be an advantage but is not essential What We Offer A stable, full-time role within a busy Christchurch branch environment A supportive and inclusive team culture The opportunity to learn more about the freight and logistics industry Variety in your day-to-day work and the chance to make a real contribution to branch operations Additional Requirements NZ residency or valid work visa ACC and Ministry of Justice background checks #J-18808-Ljbffr
