Pre-Delivery Trade Assistant

We’re looking for a Pre-Delivery Trade Assistant to join a leading construction equipment company. This is a great opportunity for someone with workshop experience who wants to develop their skills working on quality machinery. The Role: Assist with mechanical repairs and workshop tasks Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new and used equipment Prepare machinery before customer delivery Assist technicians with servicing and repairs Complete basic fault finding and adjustments Support the workshop team to maintain high-quality standards Machinery Includes: Excavators Wheel Loaders Rollers Telehandlers Skid Steers Construction & Earthmoving Equipment We’re Looking For: Mechanical aptitude or workshop experience Experience with servicing, repairs, automotive, trucks, or machinery Someone confident using hand tools and learning new skills Reliable, organised, and able to work with minimal supervision Full Class 1 Driver Licence required WTR endorsement advantageous but not essential Ideal Backgrounds: Mechanical Trade Assistant Diesel Apprentice Automotive Mechanic Agricultural Machinery Assistant Workshop Assistant Engineering/Manufacturing background What’s On Offer: Permanent full-time role (40+ hours per week) Modern workshop environment Medical insurance KiwiSaver Full PPE and uniforms provided Product training Career development opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
