This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, variety, and working independently. You will carry out scheduled property maintenance across a range of client sites, taking pride in completing work safely, professionally, and to a high standard. This role involves regular travel throughout Otago and surrounding regions. At times, you will be required to stay away from home for multiple days to complete work at client sites. What you’ll be doing Water blasting, lawn mowing, gardening, and general grounds maintenance Completing scheduled maintenance across multiple client sites throughout Otago and surrounding regions Travelling to client sites and staying away from home for multiple days when required Carrying out minor maintenance, cleaning, and general labouring tasks Working independently for much of the day while managing your workload effectively Operating, maintaining, and caring for SiteCare equipment and vehicles Accurately recording job details, including hours worked, travel, and materials used Maintaining a strong focus on health and safety, quality, and customer service What we’re looking for Previous hands-on labouring, property maintenance, landscaping, or general maintenance experience (preferred but not essential) Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in a range of conditions Able and willing to travel for work and stay away from home for multiple days when required Able to work independently, manage time well, and take initiative A reliable work ethic, positive attitude, and good communication skills A strong commitment to safety and delivering quality work A current New Zealand driver licence What’s in it for you In return for your skills and experience, we offer: A supportive team and positive working environment An attractive employee benefits package, including additional birthday leave Travel and overnight-stay allowances when working away from home Training, development, and ongoing support A varied role with the opportunity to work across a range of customer sites Please note that successful applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment, drug test, and criminal history check.
